Pakistan cricketers come in support of Palestine

Pakistan’s cricketers have shown their support for Palestine in light of ongoing Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinians.

These players, who are currently participating in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 in India, expressed their solidarity by posting Palestine flags on social media platforms, including X (formerly known as Twitter)

All-rounders such as Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Usama Mir and Iftikhar Ahmed shared their support and hopes for peace in the region.

Moreover, last week, wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan dedicated Pakistan’s victory over Sri Lanka to his “brothers and sisters in Gaza.”

This was for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. 🤲🏼

Happy to contribute in the win. Credits to the whole team and especially Abdullah Shafique and Hassan Ali for making it easier.

Extremely grateful to the people of Hyderabad for the amazing hospitality and support throughout.
